Media literacy for all
What are the origins of the SMART revolution?
In 2015, with the vital support of the Roi Baudoin Foundation, Slash Prod launched the project of social inclusion via new media “Once Upon A Time In Anderlecht.”
The initiative focused on workshops to teach smartphone videomaking to groups of teenagers from the suburbs of the capital of Europe.
The goal was to provide them with accessible tools of communication and representation of both the city and their own identity.
This groundbreaking technique of filming & editing evolved into entrepreneurship, media literacy and tech-education.
